Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has advised Nuveen on the sale of Nova Lund shopping centre to Skandia Fastigheter for an undisclosed sum.
Built in 2002 and is located 2 km northwest of central Lund, the shopping centre comprises circa 70 shops and restaurants across 26,000sqm, with tenants including H&M, Clas Ohlsson, Stadium and Jysk. It is widely recognised as the leading shopping centre in the area.
Chris Gardener, Head of European Retail at CBRE said: “We have seen a continued level of interest in Swedish and moreover, Nordic retail transactions. The first three quarters of 2022 have seen the highest level of retail transactions in both Sweden and the Nordics for five years and we expect this to continue as assets trade well above pre-pandemic levels.”
