CBRE announced today that Marcus Carlsson joined as Senior Director, Hotels. Marcus will be based in Sweden. CBREs Nordic Hotels team is experiencing an increased demand for expert advice and guidance in the segment. Marcus will focus on hotel development, operator search, and transactions. With Marcus joining, it will strengthen CBREs ambition to become the leading hotel advisor in Sweden and the Nordics.
Marcus joins CBRE from his own business and before that he was previously CEO of Strawberry Properties. He also worked for several years in senior positions for Nordic Choice Hotels (now Strawberry Hotels).
